What does it take to open your eyes
to recognize My presence,
to really know Me?
What will cause you to turn
from things that bring
only temporary pleasures?
Have you tasted all
and are still left empty?
Only I can fill that void
with food that lasts, living waters
that you may never thirst again.
Release what was before, beloved.
Reach forth and allow Me
to bring new joys for today,
new hope for life evermore!
