The True Witness

The need is to reach out
to those who know not Me.
Their minds are foggy,
giving rise to unclear thoughts.
My message is simple.
Do not complicate it
with your own human wisdom.
For I have prepared the heart
of the one before whom you will stand
to speak and tell of Me.
Let that one know
what you have known of Me
and how I have touched your life.
The message is simple:
that I died for you,
was buried and truly rose again;
and I'm coming again that you may live
with me forever.
I forgive your sins; am always with you,
strengthening you in each daily task,
and giving My joy in the doing of it.
What more can you say?
Often there are no words,
but by your ways will people know Me.
