Waver Not

You said you would go with Me,
all the way with Me.
And now, you hesitate.
You are not sure.
Know you not that
I told you not to waver?
For he who wavers will receive nothing.
My promises are to those whose feet
are moving straight
along that path with Me.
Do not be confused
with thoughts of man.
My words only are the truth.
In them only can My light shine.
In My words only will you find power.
My words are true and sure, dividing,
sharpening, piercing through.
My word cuts through
to know the truth.
And yet, I love you as
you struggle on your own.
How much easier, had you known Me
all these years!
And still, I wait
and continue to care for you!
