Patience

Patience. I have set you
in the midst of trials
to teach you patience.
Just as a young child will flee
from all that torments him,
I want you to learn of My love
in all circumstances of your life,
turning not away, but trusting in Me.
I need you tested in the fiery furnace,
burning out the dross,
making you pure for My purposes.
Can you not see?
You have much to learn
that goes beyond your words alone.
It is easy to speak well of Me.
To do well for Me, this requires
relying only on My presence in you.
My resource power
will be your strength,
your patience, your love.
Can you give this all to Me?
