The Deeper Life

My power is beyond
what man can ever dream of.
I am there when you would
least suspect My presence.
Man only keeps Me from working
fully in all situations.
I long to give you all I have.
All I am is in you
to show forth My glories.
You alone need to appropriate
what is already yours,
given to use in My power.
You are My new creation
made for My good pleasure.
Release that self-will
that keeps you from
receiving all of Me.
Be not afraid of the deeper life
lived only in Me.
I alone will hold you
and keep you in My care.
