God's Will in Today's World

I would have you stand before Me
naked and unashamed,
brought so low that you cannot rely
on your own resources to save you.
I would bring you here before Me,
seeking for what only I can give,
peace to the surrendered heart.
All other solutions are but fleeting.
Reliance on Me is everlasting.
I will never turn you away
nor will I ever leave or forsake you.
You can rely on My presence
to heal all hurts, bind painful memories,
provide you with the power to forgive
and bring My love where you
could never love before.

Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content
with such things as you have. For He Himself has said,
“I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
(Hebrews 13:5)
